140 Speedo in mine

I dont know if it was replaced but my 1986 capri roadster has the 140 in it. So far I have not found anything but the radio that is not original.

Thanks ASCMCLAREN. This is going to be a basic upgrade from the tired 86 Speed Density 5.0 HO. I miss my 85 GS T-Top Capri. It was a 5 speed and I want to go back to a manual. I have the ability to get every thing listed below for a good price. Please help me determine if this engine will fit with out having to do sheet metal work etc to get it to fit right. I jist went back and checked the title, Sept 2003 is when I drove this home from south FL. The title calls it a Merc Mclaren. It has been sitting mostly. One rear rim was bent. I purchased this ASC in 2005. The pictures were from the E-Bay listing. Got the bug to start working on it again. It's going to be a looong process getting this back to a reliable daily driver. Started by sending my rims to be repaired and refinished. Might as well start on one of the "BLING" things ...
