Seems to be hopeless to get a registration though the car had one in Switzerland until 2009.

I want to buy an ASC McLaren Convertible (1988?) but the seller has no documents from that car. For the registration (I live in Germany) I need a copy of a type approval (I hope it´s the right word). Can anybody help???

thanks for that. The problem is that the car I want to buy has no approval/certification/documents or so for Germany. (Sorry I don´t know the exact words for that.) That means I cannot get a registration because I only have the former registration from Switzerland.
