The saga continues.

After taking the old molding off and getting the new windshield put in place,
I got the new molding painted and ready to install. After using appropriate glue and placing the molding, I find that the molding is too short on the legs and came up short by 3/4 inch. Looks like ...

I guess I need some insight into windshield molding removals and replacement. I got a big crack in windshield and it looks like a major undertaking. Besides taking a try bar to it, what is the best way to take them off. I can not believe there is not a better way.

I would think that there is a better way to get molding off instead of prying it off with a pry bar. If everyone had the same problem, every time the windshield got broken, you would have to buy new moldings. Great source of income for the parts guys.

I recently had my windshield broken and I go to have it repaired. Windshield place said that they could not get the molding off. SOME idiot lame brain used some kind of jb weld product to keep the molding on. Had to by another windshield molding before the new glass was put in.
Anyone have problems ...
