Sandy

My deepest & sincerest condolences go out to the entire Block family in your time of loss. Never getting to meet Sandy in person, yet getting such insight for his passion {Karen, Son & family first, then his amazing legacy of the McLaren} I knew that all of us mattered to him. I know that now Sandy ...

Hi Zeke - Yes I did sell my Eurocoupe to a local collector car dealer, hated to do it, but hope to replace it in the near future. :D

Stan thanks for your post. See below a copy of my post to FEP. Thanks for all your support, looks like this ASC McLaren won't be mine after all.

Trunk

Not sure if its possible, you vert guys would know. Can you remove the package tray with the top up to gain access to the trunk? Did the manual pull cable break or just didn't do anything? Manual releases with these cars ages tend to freeze up over time. Is there an audible click when the relay ...

1986 ASC Eurocoupe - For Sale

Hi All - With much considered hesitation and lack of ability for other "professionals" to sell my McLaren. I am offering my car for sale by myself. I picked it up a couple of months ago from the museum in which it has spent the past 6 years on and off except for each year when I would take it out ...

Re: Screws for coupe tail light covers

Can someone tell me what the screws should look like that hold the tail light covers for my coupe? My wife got me a set for Christmas. Thanks again for the help.

Are the tail light covers pre-drilled? The screws in my covers are @ 1-1/8" Long with a 3/8" Diameter & Countersunk Phillips Head ...

ASC Cams

I think my eurocoupe has the B303 cam. It acts just like Sandy describes. When I first start it up it lopes to the point it almost dies.

Hey Zeke - I believe most 1986 models display the loping idle tendency, I believe it has more to do with the TPS & Air Idle Selenoid reacting to the ECM and ...

86 Eurocoupe

Hi All- I just picked my Euro up from the Gateway Classic Cars after 3-1/2yrs of storage/display. Back in 08 just before I consigned it, I had put a new Motorcraft battery, new tires and exhaust on it. I was a little worried about it after that long a sit. I connected the battery, put 5 gal of fresh ...
