I did go to see it, It's owned by an older guy who bought it from a friend but has medical conditions so now hes just looking to find it a good home to clear garage. It's quick for an auto and has "zero" rust on it. And he lowered his price to $5500 on CL, And also told me to just make him a offer ...

went by hanks (asc mclaren.com)to pick up a couple of things and noticed a 1985 blue and orange coupe under his carport might wanna inquire!

CKJ,how much did you get for your 85' on trade?

First of all the owner is a he and not a she, the add was updated a few times to help others read the add correctley! And the owner never claimed it was an asc in the original add discription, all the original parts off the capri were sold to hank ,and all the asc parts on the car are off an 86 ...

Its funny how everybody has something to say but yet dont stop to look at their own cars! spoilers & wings on verts ? ,wings on coupes ?, stripe kits on euro's.??........this car is no different! The only thing missing is an american flag headliner! Its still a capri!! and a t-top at that.

The car in the video belongs to hank at paradise auto ,it is sitting in michigan at the moment ,done and waiting on fords move . muscats one and only red vert. with custom red & blue interior is also owned by hank. ........................................any other questions?

maybe ill build one and see how weak it realy would have been!

On the subject of mclaren capri notchback- Why didnt mclaren produce any coupes after 86' , there were plenty of mustang hatchbacks avail. I bet it would of been pretty sweet!
