WTB: Koni Sport (yellow) single adjustable struts

I'm looking for a pair of '87-'93 Koni Sport (yellow) single adjustable struts, Koni part #8741 1121Sport, at a decent price. I don't care if they're new or used, but they need to be in good usable condition. The KONI online price is $366.00 a pair.

If you have a pair you're willing to part with ...

Maybe other folks with '85 cars can check their valve covers and build dates so we can narrow this down a bit. From the prior exchange, it appears the change from the finned cast aluminum "Powered by FORD" rocker covers to the stamped steel ones was made some time between October '84 and February ...

YUP. The rocker covers are original to the car. If you are unfamiliar with this car, it's an EARLY '85 Capri GS 5.0L with CFI/AOD and 50,xxx miles on it. Again, the emphasis is on EARLY, as in scheduled build date of 10/84. That's probably the key in this case. It has several features that were ...

I think we have this valve cover thing sorted but to be sure...

On my 85 Vert AOD CFI car it had the black stamped valve covers
On my 85 Vert 5 Speed it has the finned valve covers
On my 85 5 Speed Coupe it has the finned valve covers

Sorry for the monkey wrench in the theory, but here's a ...

Magics had the courtesy & lamp group, thicker padded door panels, and the TRX tire & wheel package, while the C.C. had those cheesy looking Cougar wheels and smaller sized tires. Magic had the Gold Cat's head outline on the front fenders, C.C. didn't.

Check your pg 92 on the price books for the ...

The auction concluded at $7500 with one bid.

I didn't get it, but I did manage to purchase an '83 Capri L on Friday.

It looks nice and clean and has been with the same owner since new!

Maybe I'll get rid of my Cobra and start collecting '85 Capris?

I already have a GS, know where I can ...

No, I didn't know that. What made the difference? Was it because the Saleens were not available through the FLM dealership network during that time?

Are the Roush Mustangs unknown? I thought they were as well known as Steeda and Saleen Mustangs. I think the yellow paint, yellow leather, carbon fiber dash trim, rims, and front air dam all sream RICE.
