Please note that several 86 Vert's (including my old one) that I have seen came with the Ford Premium Sound AM/FM cassette and not the Alpine like the Coupes.

I think last year a modified 86 Mclaren sold for well over 20k there. It's all about who's in the room when the car crosses the block. I would not be surprised if this 84 was either bought back by the seller, or if a dealer grabbed it to resell. This is an auction for Shelby's, Hemi's, L88 Corvettes ...

Thanks again for the sight unseen offer. But I think that is a bit low for a car in this condition. As Sandy noted, things are a bit slow right now with folks nervous about housing/stock market. I'll wait things out and slide her up and out of the way for the winter.

I don't think you'd find a nicer one for this price. I've reduced it to $12,500. Would look better than a Lexus with a bow on it as a gift..... It's sitting in the heated garage and I'm about to move it to the front so I can work on my Buick this winter.

I agree with only having one apart at a time. Once you go to a frame off concourse level resto (using mostly NOS parts) there is no turning back. While I do love to look at a "trailer only" quality of car, I like to keep mine nice (Mclaren and 70 GS 455) but "try" to not get too carried away ...

You are correct Sandy. It isn't about $$$- More about storage space and focusing my energy on finishing the resto of my 70 Buick GS. I have another plan running in parallel to allow me to keep.
