Keep us posted if you do decide to sell the EuroCoupe. I'm not sure if you recognize my screen name, but we have talked through email on and off over the last few years regarding the car. It's beautiful and I've wanted one for a long time - but like you, I also work for Chrysler so the wallet is ...

All may be true.....but in the grand scheme of things, "easy" things to fix on a 22 year old car. Remember, 2008-1986=22!

As far as the "fading" of the trim is concerned......(2) points:

1) I owned an '86 GT mustang over 10 years ago - remember with the matte black hood stripe and beltline trim? I ...

I don't see it either

While it's not perfect - there appears to be a problem with the top and cover - I don't see any glaring problems with the car at this point either.

It seems pretty straight considering its 22 yrs old.

Let's face it - and I don't mean this an insult to Sandy at all - but it's easy for his opinion ...

I thought I was in the right place but wasn't....on the main page I went in the "Asc McLaren Database", then "1985 Asc Mclaren Coupes".

Thanks for the help....I think I'm just too tired. At the expense of sounding like a jerk, are we really talking 29k miles, or 129k miles? I love the car, but ...

OK....So I found where the 85 coupe pic database is.....where is jacarc's car? I'd like to see that hood of his........none of the posts in the 85 coupe database are from this month.

I received add'l photos from the owner

I received add'l photos from the owner if anyone is interested.....

From what I could tell from the photos the car was originally(?) white/black top/blue interior. (77) white ASC 'verts were made in '86, (1) with the interior/top configuration I surmised. So...a (1) of (1).

As a result, I was ...

Frontier hotel

I have been to Vegas several times - both for work and for pleasure. I've stayed at the Stratosphere, Treasure Island, Hilton Grand Vacations, Mandalay Bay and a few small places off the strip. My favorite by far is Mandalay Bay, although I haven't stayed at RIO or Bellagio yet.....

The White '86 Vert in your album

I noticed in your album that the photos of the white '86 vert are labeled "sale car". Is this car for sale? If so, what are the details - 5speed or auto, mileage, any additional pics?

McLaren M6

Don't confuse this car with an ASC/McLaren.....recall that McLaren Cars (proper name?) was heavily involved in Can-Am racing in the 60's and 70's - quite successfully. One of the racing cars from the 60's era was the McLaren M6 - of which this is a replica.

It was in error that the seller was ...

In his defense......

While I don't like the car myself, in his defense, the seller actually states that it is a Capri, and not an ASC - "This car is NOT a asc McLaren it just has misc. parts as the ad says".
