It must just be adhered well on the top, then, as when I first got my car, driving from NYC to NH, I had to drive w/ the window down the whole time to hold the molding down with my hand, as it had basically peeled off the whole A pillar on the drivers side and was flapping up in the wind ...

Mike, have you aso heard of this piece breaking during removal? Given that it's the Mustang, not the Capri?

well, I only told them because if it breaks and they say "we're not gonna cover that because it's a specialty part.", I don't have $400 to drop any day for a new molding, so I want to be prepared.
Also, do you know how the molding attaches?Is it just adhesive, or are there fasteners, too?

this is crap. I called the glass company my ins. recommended, and they said it's against their policy to wrk on "specialty" cars...WTF?
I'm on hold w/ the ins. company again right now to see who can do what for me....

You'll need to purchase a new finishing moulding from Hank and have it painted to match the car. I have yet to hear of person #1 who could "save" the original moulding.
Really?!?!
That sounds expensive... :(
I was definitely going to have an auto glass company do it, I just wanted to make sure it ...

Are McLaren winshields the same as Mustang windshields??

Hey guys, I know the side windos are different shape and size, and I know the windshield is raked at an angle, but is it the same size?? Will a stock replacement windshield for a regualr Mustang (mine is an 88 asc mustang, btw) fit right in?

I'm sorry, when I said "spin", I meant that it actually does turn, enabling the screw to be pulled down or released. SO it works, just not all the time.

I thought about that but the interiot plastic tonneau cover is right in the way of ther removal, no? Did you take that out, or just gouge it up in the removal process?
