Greetings all! I joined a few weeks ago after deciding that I wanted an ASC McLaren. Bought a gunmetal gray '88 on eBay and it arrived last Wed. Pretty good shape, but as you would expect, it needs lots of little things...that's part of the fun. I'm in the Phoenix area, any of you from around here?

Welcome to the group! "Dan" is it? Saw your car when it was listed. It really looked nice and is a very unique color combination. I liked it!

Check out the Frapper on this forum's index page and you will see some members in your area. And post some pics of the 88... we like pictures.

Dan

I live in N Phx (Cave Creek & 101). I work in Gilbert. I have an '89, and an '87 (both white/blue/blue). My neighbor has an '87 same colors as mine.

We belong to the www.copperstatemustangclub.com There are two others in the club, an '87 and an '88.

The club is having a pizza dinner at Sams Pizza in Scottsdale this Sat nite at 6pm. Its free for club members and their families (pizza & soft drinks). Sat Nov 11th at 10am we'll be in the Veterans Day Parade. 'Verts can carry VIPs if they want (usually at the front of the parade). If not all Mustangs are welcome in the Copperstate spot in the parade.

Regards and welcome to the group

Welcome Dan. Nice ride. It is easier I think to get all the little stuff for a Mclaren Mustang than it would be for a Mclaren Capri. Drive it and let people see it on the road. We all need to do that so people see them and become aware of them. Good luck.
