Yes, the original listing from ascMcLaren indicates that it was a 1 of 1.
It was indeed an available combo, just that nobody ordered it. It originally did have the Orange wheels on it.

Combos were:

Midnight Navy Blue with Orange OR Silver
Oxford White with Orange, Silver or Black
Raven Black with Orange or Silver
Smoke Charcoal with Orange or Silver or Black
Silver with Black

12 combinations.

I wonder what the underneath of this looks like. The exterior and interior look great.

i think its a repaint

story is that the ladys husband restored the car and passed away now car is for sale

still cant get over the white wheels... ugly on that color combo

Stats ? ! of 115 final year, 1986 ascMcLaren Hatchback Coupes, 1 of 1 in paint & decal combo color (i.e. Raven Black with Popsicle Orange decals, logos & stripes). Another unusual item on it are the Power Door Locks, Remote Fuel Door Release and Power Hatch.

It might be a repaint. The grille bars are waaay to bright & glossy.

I was told $6500. I saw the rust on the doors as well, quarter glass lexan?, warped side skirts, missing a center cap or 2, no light covers, etc Mine was in better shape when I bought it. Not bad for a 1 of 1 though.

Know what I am thinking? Might be a total repaint. Fetch me the VIN (last 6 digits will do) and I'll check it out, to see if maybe she was originally Navy Blue

I tried to post over there but allthough I registered (Oh, like 30 years ago) it claims it doesn't know me.... Oh well ...
