Mike how would you identify the carb that you've been looking for?

Codes on the carb.

There are 2 sets of codes. There are codes on a blue tag (which is lost on 65% of the carbs) and the codes on the air horn.

For 1985 the codes of the air horn and blue tag should have "E5ZE". This denotes a 1985 Mustang/Capri carb.

The air horn will have a date code that should match the date code on the blue tag.

Unless...we're talking October 1985 which everything was #$@%@#$% up somewhere along the lines. Another guy and myself have run accross no less than 4 carbs where the blue tag is dated way off from the air horn!
