It looks more like a rust spot on the drivers side C-pilar of the 64 1/2 to me.

I do. But I am not saying until he tells me what it says! I tried to freeze frame it &I did, but still could not make it out. Enlarging it make it look like
cvcvvcvbvnbmmbmmbkffg In a London Fog !! ~ But... never mind.

He said it was a 64.5. The only special edition that comes to mind is the Pace Car replicas and maybe the World's Fair ones. Neither had any badging there that I am aware of...and if it was one...I doubt he would be restomodding it.

We have a 64.5 Guardsman Blue stang back home sitting in the barn. Hopefully my son and I (and maybe even my dad) can get a shot at restoring her one day.

Okay, I forgot that he said it was a 64 & a half!! I was thinking 1966, In 1966 a group of Texas Ford dealers got together and had Joe Blow (ya know him, right?) at ABC body shop make up some small sized but loooong (ish) emblems that said "Lone Star Edition" and placed them on the "C" Pillar, like where that one is. Looking again it looks like a Lincoln Town Car "C" pillar plaque saying executive edition or signature edition.
I wish he'd tell me what it says.....

OKAY, I got it & enlarged it. IT'S A TOOL somebody set down on it ! :P
