FYI: Finished Scanning in the last Product Fact Book

Post by negusm »

I got the Capri stuff from the last two Product Fact Books scanned in. 1980 and 1981

http://www.ascmclarencoupe.com/Literatu ... tBooks.htm

Now there is a product fact book for EVERY year from 1979-1986.

You should see the stack of binders I have...its like 4 feet tall!

:D

Pretty cool, huh?

There are 869 Images of combined asc and Capri Literature (also some 85-86 Mustang stuff in there too).

I have started getting Owner's manuals too...I have 79-81 and 85-86. I wonder if it would be worth it to scan those in too.

I'm almost tempted to branch off the Capri stuff onto a new site. Its kind of buried on my site right at them moment.

Mike, you looking for more work? Man, I am glad I am not employed by you! I think right now we are the most complete sight that there is devoted to one car! Pretty Cool, is puttin' it mildly!
How's the clock?? :?:

Well, that's how it looks scanned.

Note that the arm moved while scanning so IT WORKS!

That clock is very cool. I considered buying one from the guy on ebay, even though I have a convertible instead of the coupe. Perhaps I should e-mail and suggest a vert version.

He does have a vert "version". It just didn't sell well I think.

Just ask him.

He still has the clock with the convertible available. He's going to send me a photo of it.

LOL! Of course its "available". All he does is print out a new picture, cut it out and make a clock!

Now to be fair, the image is applied very well. No bubbles, bumps or rough edges and the color is really nice.
