Oh, 'ya, sure many of the famous, like Elvis and the Hip Hop stars have lots of cars....but I am not talking of them. I'm talking of the people who live near your community, in the new and fancy homes who are big business owners, lawyers, doctors, corporate engineers, Accountants, that sort of thing, seldom are ever into cars ? Ever notice that? Oh sure, they'll have an expensive car, probably leased, an so will the wife, but I am talking expensive to buy cars of the recent past.

We have a section of homes, 5 miles from mine, that sell for 2 million & up. My wife, a house-hound likes to drive thru "Bel-Air Estates" and lOOk - I lOOk too. In this development of about 75 mansions, I'd say 80% have a big 4-door Mercedes, Audi, BMW or Jag. There is a small spattering of Town Cars & various Cadillacs, and perhaps a Corvette or two. But, say a 1966 GTO, a 1967 Mustang GT, a Classic 1967 DeVille Convertible, a 1960s Imperial, an original Olds Toronado and so forth......... NEVER !

Those cars are in another section, and are dhow quality and are parked in the so so area, where the workers of the above people live.
Sandy as you know cars are a big liability and require storage, insurance, maintenance, etc... I noticed people with old money tend to have fewer cars and dont want the attention certain cars bring to them. Where as those who get easy money or are paper rich tend to flaunt their wealth by the cars they drive. You know the "Mr. Check Me outs," or those that lack in other areas lol. Besides just think, if you have the money you can have any car you want when you want it so imo people are less impulsive.

Thanks , I wish the tonneau cover came down between the seats
in our mclaren's, I know everyone wouldn't like it. But just a thought.
