were to find paint code

Hey all, just had to repair my front lower bumper. Damn the steep driveways!!!!!! Just about ripped the lower valance off. Now I need to find my paint code, I need the code for the 86 dark blue metallic, but I my door tag has no writting left on it. Were else can I find the code? I need to find it asap so I can make it to the Automotion Car show in the Wisconsin Dells this weekend.

This show is pretty large with about 1100 cars that show up for the weekend. It is pretty nice having the only ASCMclaren most people have ever seen. Even though mine is not a perfect show car it still gets a lot off attention, as you all probably know owning one.

I have tomorrow off so I need to get it repainted and do some other touch ups so I hope someone can tell me the code if they own a blue 86 coupe, or were else to find it.

yes, thank you I did see that code but I seem to come up with a few others also. I wiil get a chance to check my car here in a little while though.

Do you have a coupe or a vert?

Coupes got Ford paint and verts got sikkens.

Oh, you have a coupe.

You have Shadow Blue Metallic 7B (1986 Capri GS color).

This is ditzler: 3865 ...just make sure you double check it.

hey again,
Thanks to everyone for the info. Picked up the paint this morning and got it finished this afternoon. Looks like new again. Wish I had taken before and after pics. The paint matched perfectly, and it will be dry by the morning so I can reassemle the foglights and plate. Then I will be off to the car show for the day.
