Does anyone know what the b-303 cam from the 86 cars should have written on it?
Looks like my cam has 11EB-3 on it.

How to tell:-
Start car with cold engine, as in 1st start of the day. Leave tranny in neutral, foot off gas. Wait. Wait. Anywhere between 5 minutes and say 8 minutes. IF she has the B303 she'll start to get "lumpy" and then "jumpy" and erratic, as you watch the Tachometer surge up & down. Eventually the surging will take control (around 8 minutes) and the car will ultimately stall on you. On immediate re-start she have high RPMS.
IF she follows this text-book style, you have the B-303 Cam in her.
MOST 1985 did not. A few seem to. Absolutely NO convertibles. (Well, at least on delivery day to owner #1)

Well the only problem with that way of testing is the motor is out of the car. I cannot remember how it reacted when in the car since it has been out for about a year now. But if I remember correctly, that sounds real familiar., Not sure of the stalling though, I never just let it idle after starting. I do remember though that it loped through parking lots at real slow speed though. And how do I remeber that, the wife always yelled at me cause she though I was bouncing the car on purpose.
Hopefully, someone can come up with a i.d. number for me.
Thanks,
Mike

I don't think any of the cams were B-303's, more than likely they were a version simular to a B-302, which had different timing events to work with a speed density system. A B-303 will not run right at all with speed density, the lobe seperation plays havick with the map sensor.
