Dashboard Cover

My car's interior is in pretty nice shape. I replaced one panel in the Recaros and bought some floor mats from Henry.

My dash is in good shape with no cracks. I went on line with California Car Covers and ordered a carpeted dashboard cover in tan. Asked for black monogram with "mclaren" Only can have 8 letters and I don't know which way this will face out or in?

In the driver's well and the passenger well also is an interior piece, molded vinyl. Mine are tan and they have faded. Looks like they have a skin disease. Can these be dyed?

That would be the kick panels. Yes they can be dyed. I have yet to find the vinyl dye spray can in desert tan. The color changed in 85 and the previous tan is too light. Another color they used earlier is butterscotch and that's too dark. It is available by the quart but by the time you by that and the prep paint, pay someone to spray it, you are talking +$200.00 Let me know if you find a spray other than laquor.

Metro finishes will take any part and color match it into a spray bomb. I know a 5 pack of cans is like $65 now or something. The cost to do the color match is extra.

I have heard that many aut paint places can do the same thing (like sherwin williams auto paint stores) for cheaper.
