I think that I would probably be voting for Sandy's 1990 ascMcLaren Mustangs. I like Sandy's 1990 ascMcLaren Mustang's because of the great shape they are in and the fact that they actually have low miles, of course if they were mine they would have more miles on them because I think that a car is mean't to drive. But you also have to think he has #65 of 65 made in 1990 and from I have read I believe his is the only 1990 painted in Azura Blue, his Silver 1990 ascMcLaren Mustang is another rarity considering they only made 12 of the 1990 Silver Anniversary ascMcLaren Mustangs. So yea, I would vote for Sandy's.

Sandy's cars are definitely "numero uno y dos" on ascmclaren.org, as far as ASC Mclaren Mustangs are concerned.

But, not being a convertible kind of guy, the 1985 and 1986 Capri coupes discussed here are what I think makes this site awesome. 8)

My 1986 Mercury Capri ascMcLaren Bubbleback has 866 miles, the lowest of the low. She's Charcoal Grey Metallic with the Popsicle Orange Wheels, stripes & Logos. She has all 3 options: A/C Power Door Locks and 4-Speed Automatic. She does NOT have a T-Top, nor Pop-Up Sun Roof.
She is 100% Original, but needs 1 new muffler, that is going on, soon.

Sandy I agree with you, that Capri has them all beat. Do believe that it should be in my garage here in Oregon. That way you would not have to pay for storage. She would look very nice setting beside my Brite Red Crimson Cat.
By the way I had some carb and electric problems after the engine rebuild . They have been repaired and boy does the Cat scream now, really hard to hold her down.
I DO VOTE FOR THE CAPRI,,,,, Larry

Sandy----- You sure have you were the first to see, somewhere back in the very early 90's. When I first read one of your articles in a magazine. By the by I still have the magazine and all of the letters you wrote me on info of the Cat. I have been looking in the western states for over 15 yrs and have not seen another cat. The only other picture I have seen is the one Rufus had in the south. I have two poor pictures in my album.
I have decided I am to old to begin to restor and no money of course, so will drive and enjoy.
I have grey with red pipeing seats where would I get covers for them? Also they have the tbird halo, dark grey. Do enjoy your cars everyone.
I would replace with leather if they made a cover to fit

I have to vote for the Capri. Being the owner of the 85 flooded Vert, an 83 Black Magic, and an 83 RS Turbo, I am partial to the Capris.
