I can document the 1986 coupes. Prior to that, No, I cannot. I do have all the VINS for the 1986 Coupes (Full Packaged) and (EuroCoupe).
Regarding the Corvette, I too have a mild interest in Corvettes. I assume that you have the "Corvette Black Book" ? It has the option codes. Have you not a plate (plaque) on the car with similiar codes? Not sure on Corvettes, but I have a collector Caddy, and she has such.

It may be the one in the photo here, in fact. The owner works for Chrysler and is a member of the Chrysler Employee Motorsport Association.

Unfortunately all the trim tag under the dash shows is that it's a vette (duh), that it's a coupe (again duh), the plant it was built in (St. Louis?), and the original paint and trim color codes....and the sequential vin # of course. No reference to engine, or other important option codes on the trim tag. Before '68 - when vin digit sequence protocols were mandated to be a certain way by the feds - my understanding is that the automakers could do as they please....and they did. Chevrolet could have a different protocol than Pontiac, or Buick, etc. - even though they were in the same corporation!! Even further, Chrysler and Ford would have different vin coding procedures than GM, and so on before '68. Chryslers are probably the best with how they trim tagged everything on small plates on the inner fender, under the hood. Pontiac is also relatively easy to research - they have a pretty comprehensive Historical Services dept. dedicated to documenting historical cars.....Pontiac must have been managed by a bunch of pack rats to keep all the old build docs around...luckily for the Pontiac faithful!

With my extensive background with CryCo, I do know that, regarding the Chryslers.

Black Capri with air dam
Where did this pic come from of the 83 Capri with the early style front air dam? I would love to find this style air dam again for my car?
