89 Paris Blue- Low miles

Howdy all. I have been offline for quite awhile busy with other things (I now have a son!). My 89 has been to a few local shows and still has under 27k miles. I am asking 13,500. Located in NJ. Always covered/garage kept. Sandy did a great job of talking me out of selling previously, but I need to thin the herd a bit.

Now I am emotionally ill. I can't buy "Paris Blue" and what will happen to her? Congrats on the baby. I will NOT bow to heartfelt feelings and beg you to keep her. I am sure your reasons are sound, but......we both know her chances for continued beauty once leaving your possesion are, well, slim at best. Such a rare rare car and so beautiful and so well kept.

Paris Blue Metallic was originally a Nissan color, with a different name.
ascMcLaren used the color in 1989 ONLY.

8 were made, thusly:--

7 with Medium & Dark Regatta Blue inteior & an Atlantic Blue (Dark) Cambria Cloth Roof......

and

1 with Sand Beige Interior & the Tan Roof.

The color was NOT repeated for 1990, and was "new" for 1989.There can be NO better example, than Eric's

It is a very rich light to medium true blue.

75coug, I have owned it going on 5 years now.
RARE ASC, It was on Ebay with poor quality pictures and Sandy told me about it.
I bought it after seling my Oxford White 86 SC to a local gentleman (This is the 86 that was in Hemmings Muscle Machines). I was looking for a show quality car with low miles (but not so low that I would not want to drive it). This one seemed to fit the bill perfectly and when I saw it in person I REALLY liked the color. I bought it at 24,800 miles and it is now at 26,800 miles. So I have put about 400- 500 miles a year on it.

I don't think you'd find a nicer one for this price. I've reduced it to $12,500. Would look better than a Lexus with a bow on it as a gift..... It's sitting in the heated garage and I'm about to move it to the front so I can work on my Buick this winter.

I think that the market is soft. I used to get at least 1 tele call a week from someone looking for a McLaren. Now? Perhaps 4 calls a year ! Perhaps everyone who wanted one eventually got one. Problem is as the price drops (or get lowered) so increases the chances of the car NOT going to a collector, nor an "older" person who recalls the car and wishes to keep it stock and clean as a "Collector Automobile" and increases the chances that the car will soon be parked at "Central High School" student lot and be doing "circles" outta the lot, and be practicing "donuts" at the local hang out.
Isn't there an auction at Atlantic City this January that R. Peter King guy?
