Sold my 85 McLaren today

Post by red390gt »

I sold my 85 Convertible this morning. The new owner seems to know his stuff about Fox bodies Mustangs & Capri's and Mclarens so I feel it's in good hands. I had fun with it for the last year and a half but it didn't work well for me with only two seats, my kids were upset when one got a ride and the other didn't, I need a four seater. I'm now in search of an old 65-70 mustang convertible project or a Saleen project car (small projects, not major projects).

I felt a little strange watching the car drive away, I just stood there thinking "did I do the right thing?", hopefully I did. Looking forward to something new (once I get rid of my other project cars).

Ya, It's always kinda sad seeing your car drive away. It's easier when you leave it.

But on the other note just think a new chapter will be started when you find the Right Conv. And the whole family can enjoy it togther!

It will definitely sell. All of the cars at B-J are put on the block with no reserve.

Yep, he already knew about this site, he had looked at several other 85/86's before he found mine.
