I only put about 1200 miles on my $2,000 McLaren before I took it apart to restomod it.
The only long trip I went on was to Vegas for my buddy's wedding.
The real highlight of the trip for me was when his 14 year old son and I found a huge puddle in the parking lot behind the Frontier hotel (cheap hotel, totally sucks).
It was kinda wierd to see a big 15' wide puddle about 3" deep in an almost empty parking lot in Vegas (did I mention that hotel sucks?) during the summer. Since the hotel sucked so badly, we decided the best enternainment value would be to perform a huge 30 MPH drifting powerslide into and all the way through the puddle with my ASC.
Water was everywhere, on us, in the car, on the windshield, on the cars parked on the next aisle over in the parking lot......everywhere!
The kid reminds me of that every time I see him and we laugh
Of course, I will never do anything like that when the car is finished, but it was fun as a beater too.
BTW, the Frontier hotel in Vegas sucks so don't stay there if you don't have to. Just thought I'd mention that.......

Frontier hotel
I have been to Vegas several times - both for work and for pleasure. I've stayed at the Stratosphere, Treasure Island, Hilton Grand Vacations, Mandalay Bay and a few small places off the strip. My favorite by far is Mandalay Bay, although I haven't stayed at RIO or Bellagio yet.....

Re: Frontier hotel
I can vouch for the RIO. Great place. There are sooo many places to stay out there its crazy. I'd like to try others but when you find a place you like its hard to gamble on a new place.jds3660 wrote:I have been to Vegas several times - both for work and for pleasure. 2 other points. 1 - the Rio is ALL suites. 2- its kinda far off the main strip where the majority of the sites are.
