86 coupe tire sizes /lowering

What is the correct tire size for a 86 coupe? P225/50x15?

What tire sizes are others using with the asc mclaren rims?

I was thinking about lowering the car 1 -1.5 inches with H&R super sport springs, any feedback?

Well I went and ordered some new tires. Too bad you can't order the comp t/a anymore. I went with the 225/50/15 bfgoodrich g-force sports...

I didnt know you could still get 225/50/15's looks like a good deal.

My friends lowered mustang and ASC/AR blk wheels

They work very well and it hooks and go's

when need.

I also plan to run the same rear tire on my GPIV

Ok guys, what should I go with. Stock? She currently has P 225/50 R15's on the front, and P265/50R15's on the back. I like the look of the rear tires. Would it be pushing it to go with P265/50R15's all the way around. I assume they'll rub up front. Stock just looks tiny.

Nevermind, doesn't look like 265's are even available anymore. I wonder how old my tires are? Geez, guess I better order some. CKJ, how do you like yours?

i plan on getting a new set of 225/50R15 this summer. i think you can buy a 255/50R15.

I ran 245 50 15s on mine years ago, but you'll have to change your speedo gear. Not sure 255s will fit.

If I recall, your rolling diameter would pretty much be equal to the stock 3.08 running 225 60 15s.

I run 275-50-15 nitto drag radials with no rubbing. lowered w motorsport B springs.

some people have had to flip the quad shock around to make it work (I didn't); or remove them entirely if you have aftermarket rear upper and lower cont arms.

this tire, Rod has loaned them to me and I think the pavement stuck to the tire. If you wish you had more traction everytime you drive this is for you. Plus they look TUFF
