My Listing of 1985 Coupe VINS

The door tag says 06/85. I can just barely read the tag.

ill get my vin tomorrow or something after class and FINALLY you all can know my car and ill find out what number mine was and all that!

My car is 607872 with a scheduled build of 1/15/1985.

The difference in VINs is 5215.

The difference from the first car on your list (605440) to mine is 2432.

Roughly speaking if Ford was making Capris at about the same rate then the first cars to come from Ford to asc were built in December.

607846 has a build date of 12/84. How can a guy keep that stupid door sticker from becoming unreadable? Those things were a bad idea.

Contact Kevin Marti, he can reproduce many of them. You must supply all the codes off of the original tag.

if it helps i have an 1985 asc White W/ Blue interior Convertable under major renovation last 6 digits of vin are 613107

The ONLY Coupes to ever were dash plaques were the 1986 Coupes.

Sandy, one more to add to your list. VIN # 612886 is still parked in my garage next to my white and blue 1985 convert. It currently has 55,000 orginal miles. It was received by ASC on 3-21-85 with 4 miles on the odometer, the inspection sheet documents that the car has cruise and was built with the wrong door switches and bezels, and that it has power door locks. It was completed by ASC on 4-4-85 and shipped to Country Motors in Owosso Mi and was received at the dealer on 4-9-85. I have all the orginal inspection sheets, the shipping documents from ASC, and the orginal alignment specs from ASC. Thanks Sean
