Selling my 1987 AscMclaren #368

Post by AlanG »

I really need to finish my wife's 1967 fastback so I need to sell one of my toys. I'll sell it to a good home for $5000. As you guys know it's in southern vermont and I have pics in the discussion under (pics of my car)
I've got my harley lowrider for sale also, if that sells first I won't need to sell the mclaren. pm me if you want more info about the car.

I'll sell it for $4000, I've been driving it to work on nice days, it runs and drives great.

Wow, thats a nice looking car! I think the snow really sets it off by contrast. Looks like its pretty clean. Carpet looks slightly faded in one pic. And, GT taillights :(

If it had a different color interior I'd be seriously looking. (can't do red)

I like the Scarlet Interior !
Take off the incorrect pin stripe & replace the taillights with the proper LX taillights and then get from Henry the ascMcLaren taillight lens, and your good to go.
BTW, the correct ascMcLaren lens (I am told....) will NOT fit over the GT lens...

Is this a rustfree car. By what I see, if it is in good running condition this is cheap at $4000. I think!

The only rust on the car is on the bottom of the doors, the incorrect parts were on the car when I bought it. The int. is in good cond and the car is tight, no rattles in the dash. It's not perfect but it's well worth what I'm asking. call me and I'll tell you all the good and bad about the car if your interested. 802-387-2269 6-9pm est.

The pillars are fine, the molding is broken and it appears that the previous owner tried to glue the molding with windshield urethane.
I was told the car was hit in stop and go traffic by a pickup truck. I've had the rear carpet and spare tire out and I don't see any damage to the inside. The tin that the tail lights bolt to seems to be untouched. There is a small ripple in the lip of the trunk lid. It looks to me that the bumper of the pickup hit the lights and the trunk lid lightly. The car has 64k on it. I have a CT title that says the mileage is correct. The car still has the original spark plug wires that are stamped 1987. call for more info.
