Can't remember which post someone (Sandy?) asked about the ASC founder's name who killed himself?? Don't know if anyone responded to this or not, but his name was Heinz Prector(sp?). He was a very philathropic person in the Detroit automotive community but suffered from terrible depression for much of his life.

Yes! (and) 'Ya know, THAT was the 1st time in my life that for the life of me - I could NOT recall his name.
I wish they'd write his life story. Such a sad ending to a man who achieved so so so very much in one too short lifetime. I wish somehow that I had a chance to meet him and ask him many questions. Such a great losss....

Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Heinz C. Prechter was a very loved individual who was suffering from bi-polar disease. I can not find my original source so take this for what it is worth and please elaborate if possible. Some people have also said that he had went into a deep depression when President Bush did not select him as a running mate. In any event he lived the American dream. Rest in peace.
