Silver Vert on Ebay
I'm not a Vert fan, but I really like this car. I thought it was worth posting. If it was an auto I would have ignored it, but it's a 5sp Silver on Silver (Gray).

Very nice.
Special features on it is the fact that it's a1988 and HAS ELECTRIC EXTERIOR MIRRORS. They became AN OPTION at mid-year and few dealers were aware (or cared) to become aware & order them. Seems to have all options. Looks like great condition.

Electric/power mirrors were really that rare? I didn't know that, I figured most of them had that.Sandy wrote:Very nice.

RARE on an '88 ! Commonplace on '89 & '90. They became an option mid-way through model year 1988, therefore....they were NOT included in the D32 "McLaren build" (as were A/C Power Locks, Etc... so.... a Ford dealer had to TELL asc McLaren to ADD that option to an order. when ordering ! THAT is why so few 1988s have them.
I have (in my many years) found that the person in any given dealership, that is chosen to order inventory, is usually the dumbest person on the employee rooster, with the least product knowledge and one who NEVER reads products updates ! Thusly, that said, very very few had these mirrors on an '88.

Silververt, you got yourself one h*ll of a nice asc. That is by FAR my favorite color combo for the Mustangs, and it looks very, very nice. My mouth is watering.
I don't suppose you would mind sharing how much you paid, or a general ball park. We're always interested about the market value of these cars.

I believe you did very well, though the price you paid seems to indicate that prices have come down a bit recently. Of course, that is to be expected given the price of fuel and food.silververt wrote:Thank you very much like I said cannot wait to receive it should be arriving by Thursday next week
Paid $10K plus shipping hope I did OK?
Beautiful car too!
