Is an ascMcLaren an aftermarket car?
Sandy by far is the guru of guru's when it comes to the ASC McLaren Capri's and Mustang's. I've been doing my best to try and keep track of any I come across retaining as much information as possible like the vins/plaques/ color combos/ options/ poc's/ and pics. Once I get it organized I will share my findings with anyone interested. Perhaps I can set up a database that people can share right from there.
This is very important business pertaining to a registry. For instance if SAAC did not keep track of the vins of real Shelby's over the years they would have a very difficult time figuring out fakes from authentics. Good thing ours are very difficult to replicate (aside of the hatchback Capri's) and Sandy took care of us.

i hope this isnt a silly question but is there a way to replicate or replace our bodytags if they are somehow missing? I have to check for mine, just concerned as I never really knew to look for it before.Sandy wrote:AGREED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can ask Hank but I've never heard of such a thing.ASCMCLRN wrote:i hope this isnt a silly question but is there a way to replicate or replace our bodytags if they are somehow missing? Mike will we be able to arrange it assending or descending from year, CUN's, and or plaque numbers? It's going to get difficult scanning through all those vehicles soon. We may even have people post the same vehicles over and over again.negusm wrote:The more you guys want to put in the better.
When we move to the new phpBB forum software, It'll be a little more obvious.
Just have to figure out how to move our albums over...

I was playing around with Excel, to bad we can't use some features as its pretty ideal for a database. I noticed you were able to organize it from at least one setting so perhaps that will curb some issues we come across.negusm wrote:Good question. Right now no.
However, I could go into the database and run a few queries to do it. I'd have to see about it.
Hopefully it would be as simple as changing the date of the posting to get them in order of CUN.
