It was either grey or black, so black it will be. I think some POR15 will work great.

Ok after giving this some thought, I like the the pinstriping that is inward of the wheel, but would love to see a photo shop of it on the car first if you can lol. My reasoning, the thick orange is overkill and will look like crap unless you keep it clean constantly. The outer pinstriping I dont care for because it is more likely to get curb rash in that area. Oh and I prefer grey over the black on the drums and calipers as it will always look nice (no worries when dirty) and its not to loud drawing attention to a stock brake set up. You don't need overkill. Just my two cents.

I don't know if you could use por15 on them but I would use brake caliper paint
which is for high heat applications.

You could have some issues with the por15 I don't know.

You can get the caliper paint right at Autozone/Cap/Advanced Auto

Well the tires are mounted and on the car.
I will be goin downstairs in a bit to paint the center caps orange. So I will have pictures tom. night after work of the finshed wheels.

Oh, these wheels look great already.

I bought a pint of color matching orange so I will have enough left over to refinish the originals also.

Just need a repaint (maybe this winter) and a stripe kit.
I hope to have new original ground effects before winter also.

Wow that's so cool you found a car made next to yours. :) I found one that matched my 87 after the fact the guy sold his. Person lived a few towns away too. Small world. But being next to Sandy's is a great honor imo.

Nick :)
