Too funny, I catch myself going down stairs to look at my car at least twice a day.(my 1 car garage is built in under the house)

How about everyone else?

I took mine out of the garage today and had new tires put on. The old tires had good thread but started to have cracks in them after 11 years.

i did the very first oil change on my car today. i fixed a bunch of stuff that i needed to do. and i took her on a trip around the block on a milk crate. my buddy was in the car in a beach chair. i got to the end of the block went to stop and well it didnt... no vacuum line to the booster yet lol. the milk crate didnt give me much stability to stand on the brake to slow down. luckly there was no cars and i didnt have to stop. i also i checked the timing 4 times. after all this i let it run for a long time and playd with the throttle. it sounds so good. it has 3 year old gas in it i need to get some new stuff in it $3.99 a gal thats cheep!!!

I find myself opening the garage just to look at it, I sit in it with my mis-matched Recaro seats ( those things are so dang comfortable) and listen to the radio. A lot of times when I drive her and i go past a store window I look at myself in the reflection of the glass. I even go down a few side streets when I see a crowd so people will see me in the car. I LUV MY CAR.... :D

Well they are starting to show their age.. The rubber belts and hoses on mine were toast the last I looked. I could imagine no vacuum.

Wouldn't it be weird to NOT look at the car several times a day? Duh! lol.

I had mine out last night and even brought her to work this morning... :)

Mine cost me too damn much! Insurance is very very low, about $150.00 a car, per year. (Limited use/mileage - Classic Car Insurance, stated value) ~ so my 3 cost me $450.00 per year in insurance - - BUT the storage is a killer.

1st garage is around the corner. Shared with that homeowner, who has 1 car but a 3 car garage. 1 side is for garden tools / stuff and 1 is for his Toyota Corolla and 1 is for me. Hot as hell in the summer & frigid in the winter, it's $ 75.00 @ month.

2nd garage is in the same town I live in, but on the far Northern end (I am on the extereme Southern end). That garage is hidden (this is good) b eh ind a house and cannot be seen from the street. She is all concrete (3 sides) with a new roof and locking overhead door (# 1 garage also locks). # 2 garage is a huge ONE car garage. Hot as hell in the Summer & frigid cold in Winter. This garage is $ 225.00 a month, as it also has storage. You could put into this garage 2 VW beetles, but only 1 asc McLaren.

Garage #3 Oy Vey !
#3 is 4 miles away in a c ommercial building, especially & only for classic cars. It's heated to 67 degrees November thru April 15th and Air Conditioned from April 16th to October 1st. It's dehumified 365 a year, is underground, protected b y Brinks 365 days a year and is a No Burn Building made 100% of concrete & steel ... You enter in your arrival car, punch in your code, into a ATM-like machine and the steel door powers up and you drive in - in your arrival car, and park by you individual private garage. Your stored car has it's own steel door with your supplied lock and a parking spot next to it, for your arrival car. The place opens at 7AM and closes at 9PM. Sundays too.
Cost of this car mansion ? $ 335.05 @ month.

I am sick of paying all this $$ for storage! $ 635.05 @ month Storage

I miss seeing mine when I leave for work in the morning. Our daily drivers are in the house garage, the TOYZ are in the pole barn.

Oh yea, the large retail showroom windows are great to drive by. Guilty! :)

My baby has been treated to alot the last 5 years.....

2003 - new top
2006 - rebuilt transmission
2007 - new tires, new wheels, new shocks & struts
2008 - complete tune up including new plug wires, cap, & rotor.

I see mine in the form of a lump under its cover in the garage every day when I go to get crunchies to feed the dogs. Does that count?

I got bored the other night so I went down and set up a lawn chair in the corner of the garage and sat there for about an hour and just looked at it.
Of course I had to tinker with it, I moved some wires around and tucked them out of the way.(to clean up the engine bay a little)

I think today she will get a wash and detail. I will probably try to get the vacuum leak figured out again. She runs good except there is a flat spot under full throttle. Once it gets past that, she goes like it has boost. Very strange. Always something to do with it. :D
