Well it is getting worse, I will be installing a 13" tv and vcr combo in the garage so I can spend more time with my baby.

Why not hook those cameras Staples sells now, where you can set it up and watch whatever at your house from your PC at work....live stream.

I don't think my customers would be too happy with me sitting in the work truck watching my car. Not a bad idea if I worked in an office though. LOL

I just figured since I'm down there so much I might as well watch SPEED channel though. I will at least be able to watch TV in peace and quiet. (no wife and kids)

doh, I went down to tinker and ended up painting the walls with kilz primer. Now the car really pops..

next will be a large blue stripe with an orange accent.

i have a 1 car drive under basement as well. Its 50yrs old
so there are not fire walls/partitions. Just all open.

I get to see her ever day....then I smile.

Then I see all the kitty litter under her from the rear main seal.

Then my smile turns upside down.

Its ok, winters coming, she will be mended.

Great question! I am so guilty of this too. One of my cars is covered the other is not covered in the garage. I get the urge all the time to look at either one. The covered one I went to go start up as usual and once I took the cover off decided to wash and wax her. Afterwards she was so beautiful I had to take some more pictures as if I didn't remember what she looks like lol. I even left her uncovered a few more days just so I can look at her some more. If I don't look in person I sometimes look at the pics on my laptop lol.

Wouldn't your emegency brake still be working though? Glad you both didn't get hurt. Be careful though. Oh how about adding a gas additive to juice up your stale gas?

You enter in your arrival car, punch in your code, into a ATM-like machine and the steel door powers up and you drive in - in your arrival car, and park by you individual private garage. Your stored car has it's own steel door with your supplied lock and a parking spot next to it, for your arrival car. The place opens at 7AM and closes at 9PM. Sundays too.
Cost of this car mansion ? $ 335.05 @ month.

I am sick of paying all this $$ for storage! $ 635.05 @ month Storage

That's a huge chunk of change. To bad you don't have the space on your property to build a larger garage were you can buy one of those contraptions to store one car above the other. For that amount of money you can hypothetically take a $100k loan for 30 years, build the garage, and afford a few other cars to add onto your collection.

I know property is way to expensive to buy a plot and build. Wish I could be more helpful, I did offer to buy one too hehe.

I thought about this too. Imo at first I would develop an accessive compulsive disorder checking on my cars all the time. lol... Maybe someone in Sandy's situation being distant from your cars this would benefit if the property owner does not mind you setting up cameras on their property so you can save a trip driving back and forth to check your car/s.

Best way to do it imo is have it tape constantly and forget you have it. Then if anything ever were to happen you can review the tapes and try to make an apprehension with the Police. If your car is on the same premisses as you are isn't seeing the car, running your fingers across the wax, and starting her up and hearing the rumble of the exhaust so much more fun?
