Mustang Memories 20th Ann. Car Show

Sandy's car was the red one with the hoodscoup, Lee also came but they had closed the show to the cars so he had to park outside the lot. When I left the show I met a guy named John that had a white 5.0sc 86, he could not get in also. I gave him my number and told him about the site. He wants to ride in the dreamcruise with us. I also found another asc today on my way home.

i think it talked to john through the window of my car and tipped him off on the show afew days ago. it was on my way to work early in the morning

Yeah.... He said some guy was flagging him down in a four door car. His car looked really good. Did you get the other pics i emailed you? I have tried and tried to post but can't figure it out. I have noticed that ASC owners come in all age groups.

yeah that was me... now that i think about it we all got to meet john last year at woodward. his car is clean 86 vert white w/ blue.

All I can say...is WOW ! I knew that there were ALOT of McLarens in Michigan. Originally there were about 110 sent to dealers in N.J- but today there aren't even 1/3rd of that ! (The 110 includes 1984 thru 1990).

I think there are a high percentage in the MI & OH areas, most people know nothing of this site, or are just not into going to car shows. I think there are alot sitting in peoples garages.

We go to car shows, and I have never seen one.

No, actually most of them (the cruise nights) faded away around here.

yeah i meet all kinds of people i tell them to come to the site... not once have i seen any of them on here...

someone did ask at the show if there was a group of us that gets together.

boy sure would be nice if somone that was good with computer graphics made up some type of flyer or bis card

i had to add that cus chris had flyers to pass out but he left them at home

Why do you say you wised up? Did something bad happen? I took the 88 to one cruise night and had the chance to tell the asc story, ( as much of it as I know

) and it was fun.

We still have alot of cruise nights and sponsered car shows in this area. I hope one day to run into another McLaren owner at one of them.

No, I was just being funny. My 1986 Coupe has 688 miles on it & I get kidded alot about that. So, I was kidding in like I got smart and forgot I owned it.... and left it home.

I see. You did leave it home alot. 22 years and and 688 miles. = 31.27 miles per year.
