How many Euro Coupes had the 5 spd??

How many Euro Coupes had the 5 spd??
I have # 10

and I know the 85 info was lost but by using the Vin can you tell
what # car you have?

I'll further explain.
FoMoCo made all cars destined to go to ascMcLaren in sequence. Now they are not in consecutive sequence. Example:

VIN 1001 thru 1049 all were going to ascMcLaren. After 1049 they were not going. But then, beginning with 1100 thru 1180 they were all going. Then after 1180 none went, until 1250, then from 1250 thru 1310 all went to ascMcLaren.

Understand? They were in sequence - but not consecutive sequence.

Now, they went via railcar. ascMcLaren had a railyard into their property, now we'll say for this example 65 units are coming off the train. Off they come, and get parked in a giant parking lot. Think Wal Mart parking lot.

As they needed one to fill an order, the porter ran out and got one & brought it in. So, therefore as you or I would do, he did not check all 65 VINS to find the lowest one and bring THAT one in, and then if that one was # 1250 (from above) and tomorrow he needed 2 more, he didn't spend an hour checking every car for 1251 & then 1252. See? !

Regarding Euros with Auto. From the Registry, i'd say that the automatics ran just about 49% of the build, so a very enlightened educated guess would be about 22 ..... were Automatics. Euros did not offer the Dark Blue, nor the Silver exterior color paint. They were all either white, charcoal or black,

no I mean in 85 there were 150 Coupe right.You told me I have Euro #10
is there a build # from ASC not Mercury understand?like 21 out of 150
or something like that or is everything gone.

All the 85 stuff is gone. I have asked about it several times and there is nothing. The old story (if I have it right) I heard from Sandy was there was some nasty lady at asc that shredded it when he went Nosing around...and then she got canned and her replacement gave Sandy everything from 86-90.

So we got 86-90 but nothing on 84-85 cars.

I have a very small list of 85 vins...but its like 10 only.

I bet somewhere Ford has something about it....but chances of getting it are impossible.

For 1984 & 1985 cars we do have production totals AND color breakouts, so I wouldn't say that we have nothing....
1984 Verts = 50 - 35 Red - 10 White - 4 Black & 1 Bright Blue
1984 Coupes = 25 - All Dark Blue Metallic
1985 Verts = 257 - 100 Red - 95 White - 62 Black
1985 Coupes = 150 - 90 Dk. Blue Met. & 60 Oxford White
1986 Coupes = 115
1986 EuroCoupes = 47
1986 Verts = 245

You have a 1985 EuroCoupe? Not possible! The EuroCoupes were only made for 1986 !! There were only 47 made! No EuroCoupes were made for 1985. As you can see, 1985 production was 150 cars.
