Looking for new Seat upholstery

Hi everybody, I need some help. I want to redo my seats in my 86 vert with regular seats (not recaro). Henry as the 87 up listed for $750 but not the 86 or earlier. I asked him if he can get the the 86 and waiting for his answer but does anybody ever had their 86 seats redone PROPERLY. I live in a remote area where there is no reputable upholstery shop. If someone know of a good one with decent price I would send my skins.

Allready have an answer from Henry! He will get them done for me for same price range as the 87. I'll send them to him.

I'll be glad to post pics. But it can be a little while before they come back and be reinstalled. I'm sending the skins only and I will reinstall them myself. But I will post pics as soon as I will be able. Your car have the nicest color combo for the Capri in my opinion.

The regular FOMOCO seats are pretty easy to reupholster.

IMHO, I would just save on shipping and have Henry send you the upholstery and a set of hog rings. All you would need is a $10 set of hogring pliers.

That is what I'm doing. I've done that many times before but the seat skins for the regular Capri do not exist. They have to be made from my old set I guess.

Hi guys, someone was waiting for my seats to be done by Hank to let him know the result. Well they will not be done thru him because I misunderstood the price. I tought it was $750 for the pair but it's for EACH seat cover. I will try to get them done locally at a lower price. Can get you posted if you want after their done.

My God - What A Rare Piece !!!

1.) Optional and VERY rare Power Antenna
2.) Optional & costly full ground Effects (Sport Appearance package)
3.) Head & Taillight Covers
4.) and....... NO RECAROS, but the standard seats ! Never saw one like it in any color combo, before.

Original owner either did not or could not cough up the $ 1,765.00 extra for the Recaros.....or did not like them.

Sandy, are you saying that regular seats capris a rare ? Or a car with all these options but no Recaro is rare. My car does not have the options you are stating.

That it has the ubber-rare ascMcLaren installed power Antenna, MEANING it wears a non-hole drilled FoMoCo supplied front right fender, meaning that it has the Sports Decor Package (foggies, air dam, rear bumper defuser, and side ground effect skirting and head & taillamp covers).....Yet it wears the stock Ford Mustang low level seats, recovered in ascMcLaren Leather, rather than the Recaros !

A bit off topic very interesting aftermarket ac compressor you have on your 86 i must say i have never seen one like it and i have seen a lot!

and.... YES, an '86 V8 Capri McLaren 'Vert with standard
low-line Capri GS bucket seat, recovered by ascMcLaren
in leather is pretty rare - especially in a loaded 86 Capri 'Vert.

Take a look at his car, above in his album !!

Power Antenna, Sports Decor package, etc, etc,
and with the standard seating !! AND ... it's a
V-8 - its ubber dubber rare !!!! Even has head &
Taillamp covers on her !

Ok Sandy, I got it now. You were talking about the RED car. Yes this is a RARE and beautyfull car.
And for my A/C compressor it is a dealer installed kit. Look at my album the dash control is also different. And my body tag does not show AC on it.
