And look in the engine picture on the other side the dryer is not in the common place. Definetly a added on A/C system.

Sandy looking at the red car it has no cruise control. Are the cruise control not common, as I don't see many of those in 84 to 86 and my car has it. Also no other cars seem to have the same wood dash as my car. Is my car correct?

From your pictures, it's hard to really get a good view of your dash-wood. However, from what I can see, I'd have to say no, it's not original. Too bright and too dark and lacking the horizontal lines in it.
You do have somewhat of a rare combo, with the standard seating WITH power door locks.
Lets "talk" 1986. Remeber (it's on this site.....somewhere) the "Spring Special" of 1986 - pertaining to the Convertible.****
With loads of the components of the Sport Decor Group and Ford's cutting back of 302 V-8 installations TO dealers FOR inventory purposes, preferring to build 302s for SOLD orders only, FoMoCo was cutting V-8s to ascMcLaren, too....So, they came out with that "Dealer-Gift" I spoke of. Where they took two dedicated colors (Paris Blue or Sterling Silver) and added the Sport Decor Group and color-keyed wheels on the Paris Blue cars,
and listed the MSRLP on the window sticker, but charged the dealer ZERO for it. Thereby upping the total price to the consumer, and cutting the price to the dealer.
Dealers saw the opportunity and ordered them.
That Red one above is EXACTLY how the Spring Special looked - EXCEPT it's not, 'cause it's RED !
It is the only really loaded example WITH standard seating, that I have ever seen....OTHER than a Paris Blue/Sterling Silver Spring Special.
(I hope I explained that correctly. Chemo brain has been hanging around and I can & do sometimes get confused .
Yesterday I found myself admiring a Camry.
