Pulled the mclaren out today!!!

well the snow is starting to melt and after a week of chopping ice i was able to pull the mclaren out of the garage today i am adding pics to my album

I heard the number 5 used, as for how many were made. I've seen one other that had the scoops, but NO pinstriping

Is it called out on the build sheet or something? If it is so desirable, couldn't you just add it to your car?

I'm sure they were added by asc and not Ford.

Could you add them yourself? Yeah, but where are you going to get the hood louvers to go with them? I think the pinstriped hoods got those smoothed out louvers.

you can tell by looking at it. its got the scoops in the hood. i guess you would have to find an 84 or very early 85 with scoops. then steal them. then put them on your car.

They are not louvers! They are indented scoops.

so today i went over to my grandparents house and started the car. i miss hearing the rumbell. its a nice day sunny and dry. so i pulled out of the garage went down the driway and up to the next block. i turned around spun some rubber and went back to the garage.

i wish it was warmer

Try Thursday or Fri should almost be 60 degrees. Wish I could even get to my Car. IT was the first in and will be the last out

Just saw the forcast for Jersey. 57 Friday & 63
Saturday. But.....NOBODY is leaving their "nest" - Why? Because we had a wicked storm just 3 days ago, that dumped 5 to 6 inches of ice & snow. Roads are plowed, but the are all wet and there are many puddles and some are deep with some flooding in lower areas.
