Shipping company

Post by noascyet »

Hey does anyone know of a good company to ship a car from the west coast to the east?
I'm thinking of getting a ride out west but not too sure about who to use?
Thanks
Dave

Yes, I had great success and have heard excellent reviews for Intercity Van Lines. Ok they were a bit more expensive than others, but I shipped a 1992 corvette ZR-1 from Michigan to Arizona for like $1500 in an enclosed trailer (2006 time frame). When the driver showed up I saw the cars in the trailer and mine was clearly the lowest value vehicle he had control of. He had a Yenko Camaro, split window 60's vette, ferrari, etc etc. My car was completely covered with blankets and well taken care of when he opened the trailer. The driver even gave me info about "the car was not running well when they started, stalled 1 time etc etc". I'd pay that $1500 any day of the week over paying $900 and worrying.
