NO FAIR. All the way out here, in New Jersey - Just too far to travel for the Dream Cruise. All we can do is Dream of the Cruise. HOWEVER, this Sunday, I have a big car show just 7 miles away. I am going, but the cars are stayng home.

BTW, I took more pictures today. Today I took a slew of pics of the '86 MCLaren COUPE. In a day or so, I'll finish up with the Azura Blue '90 ~
These are going to be good photos!

Sandy You should plan a trip next year for the Reunion which is looking to be at Woodward. I'm sure we could have a different ride for you and the wife everynight.

It is on the Top 100 list that every car Buff person should do at least once.

"Probably more of a friendly poke to the Grand Prix cars out and about!"

Da Yup That is what it was ! .....Jason If It was a direct poke I would have said so yuk yuk .......but you know you do have a "pace car hiding in a garage " (Snicker) so maybe a gentle poke .....to give you a incentive to fix it before it is to late for Da Reunion next year ! T5's are easy to come "buy" ! you just have to ask .....I am sure we could locate one for ya .
As for a poke at pace cars where was Samages ( I am sure I murdered his name) GP Pace Car ....that's the one that truelly is getting no respect hiding in a garage !!!! I wonder if his water pump ever got repaired .

As for the Reunion I would like to see Dearborn Ford Head Quarters show to be a Primer for the Reunion Power Tour ...Early in the year and may get us some exposure for "Woodward"....maybe we can get some recognition if I get the word out before the show ....BUT that requires COMMITMENT from the GP IV"S to show ! No Waffling or Excuses no Wineing....it will only happen once !
Better Yet it would be Nice to get as many ASC"S there to help Celebrate the GP IV's 25th . I do have some Friends in the Detroit TV business that may go the Extra Mile to get some News Press for us BUT again I will not do this unless I get some Commitment !
If We do this in advance there is a possibility for some Magazine coverage also ......but it takes a little Lead time . Motor Trend and Road and Track and a few others are always looking for story possibilities But you need to let them know no less then four month's in advance to put us on there potential agenda and story line up . SO ....WHO is up to bring there GP IV's to Da Party ???? Time will tell .

As For ASC night on Woodward (Wed's) Had a great time and got some true blue cruising in to boot. Was fun to talk to all ..... and was nice to see Peter"s Dad's Project Car in his Garage.
Few people did take notice at the Speedway Gas station of my GP IV . One even remembered seeing them at the Race . Sorry he had no photo's .......yes I did Ask !
Sorry to See Peter had to leave so early ....."The Wolf's Come Out at Night and he has no lights to protect him " Snicker ......Sweet looking and sounding engine he has . And of Coarse the Lovely Laura With her Vert and Chauffeur Mark .....Was nice to see Hippy and a few others ....... "MAn how does he keep that WHITE ASC so Dam clean" .
Peters Dad Held UP all of North Bound WOODWARD just so I could Get a Group Picture from DA median .....Detroit People are so nice when it comes to Car Cruises !!!

Thats It for my input on Woodward. Will post some pictures when the Dinosaurs bring my film back LOL

Dream Cruise

Post by Kentennis »

I wanted to make it to the cruise this year. But we have to stick close to Florida for a while. The wife got layed off and we have to claim her benefits here for 32 more weeks.

No panic on the layoff, she was quitting anyway so they gave her a 'package' that came to almost 40K for her 23 years of service to them. We didn't expect anything so it worked out perfectly. We are both now 'retired'. She's 59 & 1/2.

Anyone going to the big car show in Charleston SC on Oct 17th?
