Hi,
Just bought an '85 ASC Capri off Craigslist (SF) for $1000.
The top is shot (just ordered a new one) missing one original wheel (just ordered a new one of those too) and the interior is a bit damp and dirty, but the body is perfect and the paint is like new.
The car is #214 and has 89,000 miles on it. It was non-op'd for nine years, but started right up and drives fine.
I would like to replace the carpeting, is it custom or just standard Capri?

The carpet should be stock hatch back carpet. It's probably cut down the middle for the console.
Used wheeels come up from time to time. I pick up 2 for $30 and will pay $100 each to habe them refinshed.

i paid a $1000.00 for mine too. its #423 1987 convertible. i have a picture posted. it needs some work like a complete repaint and the seats, console, door panels, need to be redone. the top is in good shape but the right plastic window as a small rip. also needs the ground effects. so eather i paid to much or you got a hell of a deal. welcome to the club i bought mine a mouth a ago and joined just couple of weeks ago also.
