I'm with you. Too many cars, too little cash, too little space. I'm far from rich, but the cash for these cars doesn't hinder me as much as the lack a place to park them. I have to sell something evertime I acquire a new toy just to make room.19cobra93 wrote:I wish I had some extra cash, I'd pick up that coupe. It needs a few things, and it's not perfect, but it's not bad either.

For sale on Ebay
Right now there are 2 for sale on Ebay:
85 Red Vert #141 VIN: 1MHBP79M4FF609358
87 White Vert #134 VIN:1FABP40E6HF195933
85 Red Vert #141 VIN: 1MHBP79M4FF609358
87 White Vert #134 VIN:1FABP40E6HF195933
I owned #134 a couple of years ago. It had 113k on it when I sold it. It's listed as 50K miles now. I wrote to the seller and told him what I know. He said he is going with the listed mileage. The man I sold it to here in Phoenix did a nice job of cleaning it up, replacing the interior and painting it.

His ad in description reads on car 134 "Mileage shows 50444 which is more than likely 150444 as that is what the title reads and it carries a clean, clear Arizona un-branded title with BOX "A" miles (actual miles)" But any car guy can pretty much look at it and see she has been around the block many many times and does not show like a 50k car! However according autocheck the last AZ title actually shows miles as 150k so guy should do a better job covering his bases!

I hope they don't ever think that my miles are fudged with!
86 Capri Coupe = 700 miles
90 = 2,337 (I think - or very close)
90 Silver Ann. Ed. = 8,207
Average car age = 21 years
21,134 collectively. Average 3,748 My Proof ? Ask ANYONE who knows me. Yes, I am nuts - but not THAT nuts to not know I am nuts.

Miles
My '86 just turned over 22,000 miles. Might as well drive it on nice days. The value doesn't appear to be going up anytime soon.
I think the 87/88/89/90's kind of held the value of the 84/85/86's back. Those on the Mustang chassis look and perform like the GT's. Why pay extra when you get the nearly same looks and as much 'Bang for the buck' with a GT as with an ASC?

Re: Miles
I'm with you. I drive mine so I can enjoy it. I could save it so when I'm gone someone else can thrash it? Nah, I'll have the fun. Last month we had AZ Governor Jan Brewer in ours for the Vets Day Parade. Very Cool.
