Looks like they are having a Merkur & Capri feature section at this years Carlisle All Ford Nationals.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the iconic Euro Ford – the Merkur, we will host a special display, featuring examples from all five years of American production. Registration includes weekend admission for two people. After registering, a receipt will be emailed to you - please bring this receipt to the event. Hey guys are you sure they are not talking about the euro Capris? Better take info before you go there with your american Capri and be turned around at the gate.

The Carlisle website is talking about the Capri's that were European imports.

They are all just stupid! They always group us (in N.J.) with Mustangs, and the Mustangs always win the trophies. You could have 2 identical cars in condition and in mileage and in color and the Capri would lose to the Mustang. WHICH is why I have (most times) employed a windshield sign stating "Not to be judged ~ Only God Judges us"
