The "Tough Times" have hurt the value of all cars.
I also agree that sellers have cut their own throats. I'm going to use myself as an example. ProTouring sold me a very solid and a very nice car, cheap. The top was the wrong color, and the electric motor was broke. The wheels were long gone and a small tear in the leather on the driver side. Oh, the radio isn't stock either, but WC, not a deal breaker.
Imho, if he would have put $3000 into that car, he would have made that back and an aditional $4000 over what he sold it for. Honestly, the car is that solid, and it is a 1 of!
The car doesn't have to be perfect to pull $10-15K. It has to be under 60K miles, and It Must Look Good!
Lol, Put a set a Cobra R's (approx $600) on her and ask $3000 more for her. The stock wheels you can "give" the buyer.
