We are still waiting out plow-guy. He does not start, until the snow stops! I dunno what # on his list we are. It's deep here, too.
I cannot get to the hospital to get disconected from this damn plastic bottle (size of a can of soda) that has a ultra thin tube, width of a piece of uncooked spaghetti and at the other end, the famous needle, pushed into my chest. (OUCH !) I was to be there yesterday for disconnect, but the roads were bad & we have curb to curb 18-20 inches of snow. The Jeep is in the garage. We wait. Must be mayhem at the hospital. Like a 2 hours wait, for a 60 second disconnect.

I call cutting off the downed tree smart.

I was there last winter. I was cutting downed tree out of the road so I could go to work. I didn't care what it looked like. I have to give my neighbors credit , as they pulled up they got out and jumped in to the fun. Now I keep snow pants and a heavy coat in my car in case I have deal with such issues .

You're right the nasty weather sucks.

Plow man came, yesterday. We be plowed. Took out Jeepers, damn is she dirty, now. Salt, Slush, looks terrible. Stopped by Car Condo to check on flat roof. All is okay. 10 beautiful cars sound asleep in darkness. All covered. 4 are mine - 6 are not.
We have pot holes here, the size of bathtubs. I am feeling especially good. Had the disconect yesterday. Hospital was oddly EMPTY. I got served in less than 5 minutes. They gave us each a Valentine's gift, but we left it in the Jeep so ???? what is is.
I can't wait for April !!
