Eminger Invoices (READ!)

Post by negusm »

I contacted Kevin Marty from Marty's Autoworks.

He's the guy that has all of the production data from Ford for all the cars made from 67-98 or so. He also bought all of the Louis Eminger invoices when she was no longer able to deal with them any more.

There was a discussion at FEP about the time delay for the 80-86 reports and I contacted him.
Mike,
We run 1979 reports now. I believe the person who thought they heard 2011 for his 79 report is mistaken. As far as 1980 and up reports, its a funding issue. With the economic pullback, we haven't had the ability to fund this project, which is a shame since it is over 80% complete. But I have to pay with real money. Which brings up the point that we have the 79-86 invoices and very few people are buying them. I was informed by certain owners that when I finally made them available, they would sell like crazy, so I invested a huge sum of money to get them shelved, stored, and sorted. But people aren't buying them. Now I wish I had just thrown those invoices away and put the money in the report program. They take up an incredible amount of space that I pay for, so they continue to lose me money. Oh, well. Hindsight is always 20-20. I wish I had better news. Tell people to buy the invoices. If I started selling hundreds of them, I could eventually pay the programmers to finish the report program. Kevin
I would urge EVERYONE to go get their Eminger invoices. He is going to substantially increase his price come September. I ordered mine last night. These are the invoices that were generated by your dealer when the car was ordered. I hope to see some information about ascMcLaren on mine when I get it. Please do not delay.

Can you give specific contact info for these invoices?

Call them and ask. I don't know.

They list 79-86 now so I don't know if they haven't organized the 87+ ones or just don't have them.

Post an update whatever you find out.

Howdy all

I ordered my Eminger back in 2009 for my 85 GPIV . took a long time to get it about 8 months or so . But at the time they had not organized the emingers . I received it about 3 months ago approx. Boy am I glad I did. Sure opened up some history on my car . It was interesting to see the dates for the t roof install (Design Concepts ??) and then afterwords it was invoiced to ford for promotion (lets go to the races) the car was invoiced to Ford several days before the GPIV race . The Eminger was well worth the price I paid ! I am on the list for the Build report for my year which is not completed yet .....I suggest you option up for that also if you have a rare one . I had very good communications with Marti and was pleased with the near perfect condition of my Eminger .....just had to wait for mine . You guys should not have to wait like I did as they are into the 86's maybe the 87's by now . Hope this helps with all of you with your decision to plunk down the cash .

Still would be something to have though. It belongs with your car.

Eminger Invoices

Post by capri50asc »

They can not find my invoices for my '86 vert or 86 Capri. I gave them a call on Friday and was told that the heat in their warehouse is over 140 degrees, Its in Arizona, Yes its hot for someone to look through boxes,

BUT! If you have 2000 guys with Mustangs and Capris, who will pay $60.00
for a piece of paper in this tough business world, I think I would at least put in a A/C unit for your personal . If you do the math it comes out to be a total of ................$ 120.000 Not bad for looking for pieces of paper !!!!!

Just my vent!
