WHAT A DAY

Post by Sandy »

I had a terrific house guest, yesterday! You all shoulda been here.

Mike Negus came to visit us ! So, he got the the grande tour, of the fleet!
Even over at Car-Condo! Spent the day together, went out with my Wife & Son for pizza and... Just a great day. But....Hot as Hell.

Mike, I forgot to show you the master copy of the 1990 color and trim book.
It has 10X7 inch metal, plates of each exterior color, same sized actual samples of leather interior pieces as well as actual convertible top color samples. Sorry.
I hope you are back, by now, but I kinda doubt it.

Thank you for the neat gift, I love it, but it wasn't necessary. Your presence and fun we had was more than enough.

Right after you left my computer got a virus. I cannot send e-mails.
My "Mr. Fix-it" will come tomorrow at some time, 'til then, I am on a crippled computer.

I seem NOT to be able to view E-Mails....so hold off for 48 hours, guys.

I treated your glass mug with the ascMcLaren logo etched into the glass to a really cold R/C Cola, while you were finding the Garden State Pkwy. I think it's more for beer, than soda-pop. Karen & Matt like Rolling Rock, so I go along with that. Gotta pour a cold one into the mug, AND feed it to MY mug.
 I trust your are home and did not get lost.

I am honored to have met you !!!!!

Whomever comes here, we seem to never have enough time !

Mike is a most cordial and polite guest and also very all knowing as well as worldly, which I learned as soon as the conversation turn away from McLarens.

No. sadly no McLaren. Mike was traveling & had a Honda Odd-At-Sea.

Mike took several photos. Perhaps in a day or two he might post them.
I can't guarantee how good they may come out. A few were taken inside "car-condo" with overhead so so lighting, the Coupe inside a rented garage, and the Blue 'Vert inside my garage and the silver snniversary with the Caddy at the Condo. None were very good places for a "professional" picture.

The mug works just fine with Soda or Beer! This was the mug my brother made for me and is definitely one-of-a-kind. Enjoy it. It was only collecting dust on my shelf. :D

I am so busy during these "vacations" that I only got to meet Sandy because he was pretty much on the way home and as it worked out my wife is in China and the kids are staying longer with Granparents so I was travelling alone.

I do have some pictures of the cars to share among other things. Stay tuned!

Oh No! I feel badly, now! Your brother bought it for you.....and you gave it to me? How is your brother gonna feel about THAT?
If it causes trouble, tell me & I will return it. I do not want to cause trouble between brothers.

If it causes any hard feelings at all, I DEMAND to know & I'll ship it 2 U.

What I would REALLY like, for a gift would be a set (4 per side - total of 8)
1957 Buick potholes that illuminate at nite, with the headlights, to cut into the front fenders of my McLaren coupe, that glow bright lime green and violet, of course, alternating!

No no. He didn't buy it, he made it with his sand blaster and I already told him about it. It's all good.
