No. When you pick "new" when building your auction, ebay puts that text in there.

In his description he mentions no such thing.

I just spoke to the guy who purchased the '86 Capri. He is NOT happy! He needs are help on this car on what to do. He was not given the truth by the owner or the the person who listed the car. He told it was full of overspray on the exhaust etc, etc, Runs bad, pulls to the left. OUCH!

He needs to demand money back from the owner.

Then file a police report. Dunno if ebay buyer's protection plan will help at all.

Not much that we can do. Our biggest help is talking about it before the sale.

I see he just registered here...I expect a post from him soon...

That 140 MPH speedometer is a police vehicle speedometer. To write a ticket the police vehicle must have a calibrated speedo in most states.

Yes, that's an '83-'86 SSP (Special Service Package) speedometer, and somebody got a real good deal @ $74 shipped. They're worth about double that price.

In the one picture the rubber Hood stops (Bumpers) are red (from Paint Spray) they should be black !!!!! (Rubber Black) Some body's been ah painten !

Actually that isn't true, every one I have ever seen has body color on them.

My 86 Capri has never been painted. Mine are red. Factory painted from bumper to bumper.
