Stumbled on a 1990 Red vert in London, Ohio.

For sale at Coughlin Chevy, GMC. Buick.

Found on Cars.com as 1990 Mustang. No mention of ascMcLaren. But it is. The pictures show the doors, seats and dash and all have the right things on them.

I think this '90 is a pretty rare car. Wish I had room but the wife says I can buy anything I want as long as I have a dry place to keep it. :D

Ken, that cherry-Red '90 model just sold on ebay today... for $6,995. The dealer started the auction out with a 'buy-it-now' of $9,995 then kept ratcheting it lower as the days went by. I had it watchlisted. It couldn't have been listed at that revised price for more than a couple hours before it got jumped on. Someone STOLE that suckahhh. Hopefully someone on these forums perhaps? Ultra-rare car. Also the only year McLaren's got a drivers airbag. If it were a 5-speed I don't know if I could've resisted... would've sold my '88 to trade up for that one...

I never saw it on Ebay. I must have missed it. WAIT!! I know why. He didn't have it listed under McLaren. I never check Mustang.

And you're right. Someone stole it. A GT in that shape would sell for 10K+

Actually, believe it or not Ken, he did have it listed as an 'ASC McLaren'... it's ebay item #260642475378. You can also search completed items and you'll see it. They have a website as well. www.coughlinauto.com Incredible deal! Make that astounding. I was gutted to see it go for that. Not sure why the dealer wanted to move it soooo badly.

Fact is, all I need is a whole lot more money and a whole lot more garage space and I'll be in good shape... Wonder is Jay Leno is looking to adopt? 8)

I pulled in that dealership about a month ago after seeing that car parked out front in the lot.

Let me tell you...that is an awesome, clean car! It looks even better in person. Wow!

If only it was a 5-speed... :(

Holy mackerel. I am both sick that I missed out on such at nice car at an incredible price, and happy that I didn't see it because the last thing that I need to be doing is buying another car at the moment. It would have been irresistible, however.

Unbelievable! That is my former car that sold at auction a few months back. I was sick I missed it and I log in today to see I missed it again. Makes me sick. That car was all original and beautiful. It has the same milage it had on it when I sold it to the John O'Quinn collection for $14K in 2003. Looks like we are just not meant to be reunited.

Can't find where it was offered, at auction, with most of the rest of the O'Quinn collection. Some were or are going to be auctioned off. I spent a lot of time looking for them and found quite a few but it doesn't appear the '90 was offered.

It sold at the Mecum auction in Indy in May. There is a link to it on page 2 of the classifieds forum on this site.
