Florida is the place to be. This 86 'vert spend its whole life there. From 1986 until 2006. It was in a condo in the city of Stuart The car was covered in a underground garage for about 20 years. Before it was shipped to Hines Park Lincoln Mercury. The car had the following problems:
Heater did not work (repaired)
4 Dashs Lights did not work (Repaired)
Radio out ( Placed with a NOS Ford unit)
Radar Detector did work ( rebuild unit myself with new speaker and wiring)
perfect and works with new standards. of laser etc
Wipers did not work (repaired)
Hood latch broken ( NOS unit replaced)
Dash stained ( repainted to factory specs)
Lighter did not work ( replaced)
Bad speaker in door ( replaced)
Gauges did not work ( all repaired)
All emblems gone ( replaced with OEM ones from Hank)
Wood grain missing on graphic display ( White dash parts installed until I can find this part,)
Exhaust needed to be replaced ( Flow masters installed)
Power widow stuck in the door. ( repaired motor)
Door locks sticky ( all repaired)
Headlight cover loose on headlight doors. ( made steel plates to replace cracks in the headlight doors, so the covers would not move.)
Motor ,trans, braking and steering and body all PERFECT on this 'vert
I added the following:
Pod gauge set up on the post
White and Blue dash parts ( Temporary)
After market Bosch NOS Driving lights with ASC McLaren covers
Cable covers for your hands on the pull cables in the storage boxs
Added ASC Mclaren cover to the plenium
Added NOS Fog light switch
Also received from the Mercury dealership every piece of paper work for this car ( manuals, invoices, window sticker, extra keys, shipping paper)
It now show ready!
