As some of you may know I'm repainting my car. Now i have noticed some variations in what the wing color should be. Mine is blue now to match my car. I have seen some that are charcoal that matches the trim.
What is the correct way? In the brochure the blue car has the blue wing.

ASC paperwork for 1986 states coupes rear spoiler is "color keyed"
I have seen 1985 in white with both gel coat (black) and painted white spoilers.
The 2 Silver Metallic 1986 had siolver spoilers.
I sae 2 black coupes, both 1986. Both had BLACK painted (gloss) spoilers. I saw a 1985 (Navy Blue) with gel coat (charcoal) spoiler.
My charcoal coupe has matching color spoiler.
Not mentioned on 1985 coup paperwork, color keyed on 86 coupes.
BUT I have seen a few EUROCOUPES (1986 was their only year) with non painted spoilers...... and, to date, no Euros with painted spoilers.
Now watch, here comes 7 pic s of Euros with painted spoilers

i would go with the charcoal gray. im not sure why they would paint it body color. the wing with finishing clips "become" part of the rear window molding. so why paint the wing any color other then charcoal gray to match the molding?
the 85 coupe in the pic you posted has a charcoal gray wing.
